ℹ️ How it works

  • Session Tracking: Each user's browser stores the version they're running
  • Automatic Detection: When users load the app, it checks if their version matches the current version
  • Update Prompt: If versions don't match, they see "Update Available" message
  • Cache Clearing: Clicking update clears their cache and loads the new version

💡 Recommended workflow

  1. Upload your changes to the server (using upload.sh)
  2. Increment the version number here (e.g., 1.0.0 → 1.0.1 for small fix, 1.1.0 for new feature)
  3. Users will automatically see the update prompt on their next visit
  4. No need to manually turn anything off - users update once and they're on the new version

10000 = Very Common, 5000 = Average, 100 = Rare, 1 = Ultra Rare (1 in 10,000)
1 = Easy (slow movement), 10 = Very Hard (erratic movement)
Extra seconds added to catch duration (e.g., 0.5 = half second, 1.0 = 1 second)
Custom dex number for ordering (leave empty for auto-numbering)

Upload a shiny/alternate sprite. If not provided, regular image will be used for shinies.
Arcane fish have a special golden glow in the tank and display "Arcane" instead of rarity in the Ichthus Dex

✨ Shiny Odds Configuration

Configure the rarity of shiny fish. Default is 1 in 4096 (like Pokemon!).

Lower = more common shinies. For testing, try 10 or 50.

🪑 Furniture Odds Configuration

Configure the chance of furniture appearing in SingerSnap games. When furniture appears, the game lasts 25 seconds and students must catch BOTH fish and furniture to get the furniture.

Lower = more common furniture. Default: 1 in 20 games (5% chance)

⭐ Featured Tank Management

Manually shuffle the featured tank for a class. The featured tank is randomly selected daily from the top 10 most valuable tanks in each class.

📦 Tank Capacity Configuration

Configure the maximum number of ichthus that can be in a student's tank. When the tank is full, newly caught fish will automatically go to storage (Pokemon-style PC system).

This applies to all students by default. Individual students can be customized in the Manage Students section.

Update Individual Student Capacity

Override the default capacity for a specific student.

Set a custom capacity for this student.

📦 Move All Ichthus to Storage

Move all ichthus from all students' tanks into their respective storage for a specific class. This is useful for resetting tanks or preparing for a new term.

1 = Small (1 block), 5 = Medium, 10 = Large (takes up more tank space)
